Episode 301 – Lanterns
The guys review the first two episodes of DC’s Lanterns on HBO. They weave through the plot and talk about how Damon Lindleof is a JJ Abrams acolyte and was well versed in the Mystery Box trick that is heavily overused. However for a mystery show, it is appropriate here. The go over what they like and what they don’t like. Mack found it watchable but then it took him 24 hours to realize why he felt uncomfortable. Hint: Same reason why The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi ruined their characters.
